KNU Hosts Online Conference
Kyungpook National University Successfully Hosted Online Conference on July 29
“The New Normal: Meeting the Challenge of a New Educational Future” was the official title of the online conference hosted by Kyungpook National University earlier this month. The Office of International Affairs worked hard to secure some of the top voices on the newly relevant topic to speak during the event: Dr. Paul Doyle from TU Dublin, Adrijana Lazic from the University of Ljubljana and Dr. Troy Fuhriman from right here at Kyungpook National University.
Each presentation ran for 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute Q&A session, and dove into Maintaining and Expanding Partnerships; Preparing for Online Summer Classes; and Professional Perspectives on Practical Problems in a Pandemic. To add to the proceedings, KNU President Sang Dong Kim offered a personal greeting to the attendees and Lorne Hwang was invited to moderate the event. The conference received 61 registrations from 24 countries and 43 universities around the world.
