Tuition Differential Payment

Students who have attended university past the coursework duration pay period may choose to apply for differential payment to reduce the burden of paying the total tuition fee

Eligibility

Students who must register between 1 to 9 credits for graduation but have attended university past the coursework durationperiod. (1-3 credits for graduate school students)
(This does not apply to freshmen and students who applied for payment in installments)

Payment Method

Confirm application and insert account number

All applications are handled at the same time by the information department.

  1. 01.Go to Student Information System →Registration/Scholarship →Registration →Apply for Differential Payment →Check your application on the Short Cut pageGo
  2. 02.Insert your account number and save(if there are changes to your academic status, tuition fees will be refunded to your account)
  • Application for Differential Payment (1st Application) : The system includes students who have exceeded their coursework period and apply for their differential payment automatically until on Wed 8th February 2017.
  • Application for Differential Payment (2nd Application) : Students who have exceeded their coursework period and have applied for 1-9 credits (1-3 credits for graduate school students) are to apply for differential payment individually until 18:00 on Fri. 24th March 2017.
    ※Even if you have been selected for differential payment in the 1st automatic application, if you have not registered for 1-9 credits until the end of course confirmation period(17.3.21),your application for differential payment will be automatically cancelled and you must pay the full tuition fee.
  • Payment not accepted during the registration period(`17. 2. 21. ∼ 2. 24.) No Bills
  • You must print out the final bill according to your final course registration and pay the tuition fee within the payment period(`17. 3. 29. ∼ 3. 30.).
    ※Your tuition fee will be calculated based on your course registration after the final course confirmation period(3. 21.)
  • Differential payment does not accept credit cards (tuition must be transferred to your cyber account)
    ※Differential payment may include full tuition payment with refunds, however, credit cards are not accepted in this case as well.

Cancellation of Differential Payment

  • If you would like to pay your full tuition and get refunds, go to Student Information System →Registration/Scholarship →Registration →Click on the cancellation button on the right side ofthe page where you can apply for Differential Payment. It will cancel your differential payment application and let you print out the bill during the registration period: Pay the full tuition fee during the registrationperiod and receive refunds.

Refund for Tuition

  • Eligibility
    • Applicants for Differential Payment who are carrying over their tuition fee to the next semester
    • Applicants for Differential Payment who have paid the full tuition fee
    • Students who have applied for leave of absence after completing their differential payment (Your tuition fee will be carried over to next semester if you are applying for a leave of absence after paying the full tuition fee)
  • Insert your account number : If you need to receive refunds, go to the Student Information System from `17. 3. 24.(Fri)→Registration/Scholarship →Registration →ConfirmGo yout application on the screen, insert your account number and save.
  • Refund Method : Depending on the number of credits you have registered, the remaining tuition fee will be refunded to your account. If you paid through the student loan, the difference will be refunded to the organization.
  • Refund Period : Early May(around half way through the semester)

Students with changes to their academic status (leave of absence)

  • Student who have applied for differential payment depending on credits : Cancel differential payment and receive refund
  • Students who have paid the full tuition fee : Cancel differential payment and carry over the tuition fee to the next semester
  • Refund Period : Early May(around half way through the semester)
