The delegation from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, which included Deputy Vice-Chancellor Mette Sandoff, visited Kyungpook National University on November 15th and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation with KNU President Heo Yeong-Woo. The two universities agreed to further strengthen their existing cooperative relationship while also exploring concrete plans for joint research and educational programs.

Founded in 1891, the University of Gothenburg is a leading public university in Northern Europe, comprising 8 colleges and 38 departments. It recently ranked 194th in the QS World University Rankings.
On November 18th, the delegation from South China University of Technology, which included Vice President Xi Guojing, visited KNU to discuss collaborative projects between the two universities. South China University of Technology, a comprehensive public university established in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, in 1952, is a prestigious Chinese university ranked 23rd in the Chinese Alumni Association University Rankings.
