In order to improve graduate students' academic English presentation skills through English paper presentation seminars, we are holding the IWC Graduate Student English Paper Seminar in the first half of 2025 academic year. We hope that many graduate students will participate.

1. Operating Period: 2025. 3. 17. (Mon) ~ 5. 14. (Wed), 6 weeks

※ Closed during midterm exam period 4.17.-23. Closed during holidays in the second week of May

2. Operating Hours
- Writing course: Every Monday, 12:00-13:00, 6 times
- Presentation course: Every Wednesday, 12:00-13:00, 6 times

3. Location: Global Plaza Room 301

4. Participants
- Approximately 40 graduate students (master's and doctoral) per course
- 50% Koreans/foreigners will be selected each
※ Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and the nationality ratio may be adjusted depending on the application status

5. Application method: Fill out the Google form, and after completing the application, all will be registered in KNUCUBE

- Introductions, Literature Reviews, Stating a Research Question and Avoiding Plagiarism.

WEEK 2

- Methodology – Explaining the research approach, specific methods, tools, and rationale behind research methods. Avoiding vague, redundant, or unnecessary language.

WEEK 3

(3. 31.)

[Writing ]

- Data Results – How to present quantitative and qualitative data objectively, while focusing on logical flow, supporting information, and justifications.

WEEK 4

(4. 7.)

[Writing ]

- Addressing Limitations – Identifying the limitations of methods and results, and explaining why these limitations don’t impact the overall conclusions of the research as a whole.

WEEK 5

(4. 28.)

[Writing ]

- Abstracts and Citations – How to write citations in various styles, and craft an abstract that summarizes all essential elements of the research paper.

WEEK 6

- General Writing Tips – Using transitions, active voice, organizing information logically, and enhancing readability.
