US Ambassador to Korea, Mark W. Lippert, meets with KNU students, 23 July, 2015

13 students were selected to each lunch with the US Ambassador during his recent visit to KNU. Each student represented something special about KNU’s international strategy, including our overseas exchange activities, double degree programs, US military partnerships, and international activities at home. The conversation was very engaged, and our students asked an array of questions, covering US foreign policy, US/Korean relations, and personal career-related issues. Ambassador Lippert’s answers were honest, direct, and certainly thought-provoking for the young audience in attendance.
Ambassador Lippert was given a specially decorated football helmet when he met with the KNU American Football Team, the Orange Fighters.
