KNU Ranked 1st Among Korean Universities for the Graduate Student Government Scholarships

The president of Kyungpook National University, Sang-dong Kim recently announced that 14 scholarship recipients had been selected for the ‘Korean Government Scholarship Graduate Student’ 2018 program.
KNU nominated 25 candidates, of whom 14 were accepted, constituting the largest number of scholarship recipients amongall the universities in Korea.
The ‘Korean Government Scholarship Graduate Student’ program is an international fellowship program designed to build a strong network among university graduates and develop competent professionals by awarding scholarships to outstanding students from all over the world.
Scholarship recipients are offered various types of support including monthly living expense, full tuition scholarships, research funding, medical insurance, etc.
Currently 42 Korean government scholarship recipients (9 undergraduates, 33 graduates) are studying at KNU.
