KNU Teachers College Selected as 2022 Short-Term Overseas Education Service Operating University

The KNU College of Education has been selected as an operating university for the “2022 Teacher Overseas Dispatch Project Short-Term Overseas Education Service” program, which is conducted by the National Institute of International Education of the Ministry of Education.
The program, with support from the National Institute of International Education, plans and operates a four-week overseas education volunteer service program to enhance the international education competence of preservice teachers and to identify new models for short-term education service.
This year’s overseas volunteer service program, in connection with the Global Teacher’s University (GTU) Project of the KNU College of Education, will be conducted for students from high schools affiliated with Hue University in Vietnam. The program contents include various aspects of Korea’s remarkable educational culture, such as STEM education centered on mathematics and science, and Taekwondo, etc.
The College of Education will continue identifying international cooperation projects to both train talented individuals to be prepared for the global era and also promote the excellence of Korean education on the world stage.
