Education Support

  • Library

    Since its opening in 1953, the KNU Library has been supporting the research and academic activities of users with 5,081 study seats and over 3.1 million volumes of books in a space comprising 35,961㎡. The KNU Library has a main library and four branches located in the Medical School, Dental School, Law School, and Sangju Campus respectively. The library provides an academic information system(KUDOS) and an integrated search system to assist search and use of academic materials,as well asa mobile-friendly homepage for additional access. The KNU library actively collaborates with other libraries both in Korea and abroad to provide the best services to the university and the community as a hub of academic information at a globally-oriented institution.

  • Smart Learning

    The Smart Learning system supports efficient class management (both on-line and off-line) providing information linked with the YES(integrated information system) and a platform where faculty members and students can interact easily.

  • Foreign Language Institute

    In order to strengthen and supportinternationalized education in the global era, the KNU Foreign Language Institute provides various foreign language programs in English, Japanese, Russian, German, Spanish, Italian, and French; as well as Korean language classes for foreign students.

  • International Writing Center

    The first of its kind in Korea, the IWC provides various seminars and writing tutorials for KNU students to equip them with better English composition writing skills. Students who plan to study overseas or apply for international programs organized by the Office of International Affairs at KNU can receive help inthe development of their writing and study skills before going abroad.
