National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Korea Selects 4 Academic Books of Excellence from KNU
The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Korea has selected 4 books by KNU professors as 2021 Academic Books of Excellence. The selected books and respective authors are as follows: ▷ “다산 정약용의 역학서언, 주역의 해석사를 다시 쓰다 (Rewriting the Interpretation of Main Figures in Dasan Jeong Yakyong’s Yeohakseoeon)” by Professor In Bang (Department of Philosophy) ▷ “토지와 자유 (Land and Freedom)” by Professor Yeong Jo Hwangbo (Department of History) ▷ “시민성의 공간과 지리교육 (Space for Citizenship and Geographical Education)” by Professor Chul-ki Cho (Department of Geography Education) ▷ “지방분권 오디세이 (Decentralization Odyssey)” by Professor Hye Soo Ha (School of Public Administration).
The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Korea has begun the selection of Academic Books of Excellence to promote research in foundational academic disciplines as well as the publishing of academic books and journals. This year, a total of 265 pieces of literature have been selected (67 from Humanities, 95 from Social Sciences, 35 from Korean Studies, and 68 from Natural Sciences).
