KNU College of IT Engineering, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and Warsaw University of Technology Sign MOU

On July 14, 2023, the Kyungpook National University College of IT Engineering signed an MOU for mutual cooperation with the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland.
The MOU was signed in the presence of the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, Lee Chang-yang, and the Polish Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda, on the occasion of the South Korean president's trip to Lithuania and Poland for the purpose of exchanging future talent in high-tech industries.
The agreement with Warsaw University of Technology, Poland's premier science and technology-focused university, will establish a partnership for youth, master's and doctoral-level talent exchange, and R&D and enterprise support in high-tech industries between the two countries.
Kyungpook National University's College of IT Engineering and the Warsaw University of Technology have been operating student exchange and dual degree programs and Korea-EU educational cooperation projects since March, 2008. Through this new agreement, they have expanded their cooperation into research focused on high-tech industries such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors. "This MOU will serve as an opportunity to elevate KNU's education and research in high-tech fields to world-class levels," noted Dean Dong Seog Han.
