KNU Ranked 7th by University Evaluation Media, US News

Kyungpook National University has been ranked 7th in a top global university evaluation. Evaluation association, US News (US News & World Report) recently announced the world’s top 500 universities from 49 around the world, including American, European, Asian, and African Institutions. South Korea has 11 universities in the top 500, including KNU.
The ranking is based on institutional research, the number of academic papers published, the accomplishments of faculty members, and the number of Doctoral and Bachelor’s degrees granted.
The educational information service corporation, Thompson Reuter ranked KNU 96th in international cooperation, 290th in publications, 304th on the number of doctoral degrees granted, and recognized KNU for its competitiveness in research fields. Overall, KNU ranked 337th in the world.
